I have been asked by the Garforth Historical Society to talk on the subject of Historic Wells on the evening of Thursday 19th of October. The talk looks at many different types of well including holy wells, spas and the kind of water trough you can still see at the side of the road. The talk costs £1 for non-members and all are welcome.

Venue: Church Gardens Centre (off Church Lane), Garforth, LS25 1HG
Start time: 7.30 pm.
