New course starts on Friday 17th of April
This is the latest of a series of extremely popular courses which I have run for the Workers’ Educational Association in Shipley (West Yorkshire, UK). It focuses on four topics – communications networks, the development of the textile industry, coal and the age of steam, and the development of light engineering in the valley. The course features a mixture of classroom sessions and guided walks.
This is only one of several forthcoming events and courses in which I am involved. Here are some dates for your diary. More information will be posted later.
Saturday 25 April: Ilkley Moor guided walk 2
Saturday 30th May: Ilkley Moor Walk 3
Tuesday 9th June (for three successive Tuesday): Discover the Heritage of the Wharfe Valley. Information on the WEA website
