Archaeology at Gildersome Primary School

For a couple of days in June I worked with South Leeds Archaeology on a small-scale archaeology project in Gildersome (West Yorkshire UK). The intention was to investigate a circular feature which appears on the Tithe Award map for Gildersome. The children found a wide range of objects some of which are shown in the slideshow, though it was all 20th century in nature.  Work is on-going on a formal report which should be published in the next few weeks.
